MTBSI
Mean Time Between System Interrupt (MTBSI) is the length of time between outages. Outages include planned and unplanned downtime. Approximately 85% of outages are planned, so MTBSI relates more to the cost of IT operations than it does to a measure of reliability or failure. MTBSI is expressed in hours as the number of possible minutes divided by 60 divided by the outage time.
